Otto von Jampol, formerly Nugget, is a stunning 4 1/2 month old gold sable German Shepherd. Otto is one of the most beautiful pups we have rescued. We first saw Otto then Nugget as a picture on a shelter web-site. We wondered why 7 week old cutie hadn’t been adopted, but a call confirmed our worst suspicions, the adorable puppy was sick. Nugget was rushed to the hospital and got a transfusion; he quickly got his puppy spunk back but then had some issues again. When a series of tests revealed nothing, Nugget was given a Distemper test and ours hearts dropped, the test was positive. Almost three months later Otto is the picture of health and puppy determination. His foster mom dreaded the day he would leave, but then a wonderful family who had adopted before from Westside called, they had just lost one of their beloved dogs. The same day they came to meet Otto; he came bounding into their arms and was so excited to go home with Milo, now 120 pounds. He was rescued by Westside when he was just weeks old and had to be bottle fed. Now the family has two beauties from us! Thank you!
